About Me

Hi there! I'm Marcus — Akyriu online. In under six months I shipped a REST API with JWT auth and PostgreSQL in production, a real-time automated tool running at my current job, and a canvas-based collaborative web app with modular TypeScript architecture. I learn by building things that solve real problems. I started coding in early 2026 and every skill came from shipping actual code. Currently working in Technical Support while actively looking for a junior developer role where I can contribute from day one.

May 2026

REST API for music tracking integrated with Last.fm. Users create an account, link their Last.fm username, and get real-time now playing data alongside top artists and tracks. Built with Fastify, PostgreSQL, Prisma, and JWT authentication — deployed on Railway.

Canvas-based collaborative sticky note web app built for small businesses. TypeScript, Supabase, real-time sync with WebSockets. Co-founded and building towards launch.

Monitoring System

Tracks the availability and response time of services like Google, Netflix, and Spotify in real time. The project closest to my day-to-day work in infrastructure — TypeScript strict mode, async architecture, and a dynamic UI built from scratch.

Automating Task

April 2026

A Google Apps Script built to solve a real problem at work — tracking physical equipment across two location boxes using Google Sheets. Paste MAC addresses or Serial Numbers and the script instantly highlights each item as present or missing. Built in production, used in production.
